Question 1

Do I need any hardware to use Puffer?

Accepted Answer

No. Puffer runs on any device with a browser - your existing tablet, laptop, or phone. No terminals, no card readers, no setup fees. Just open the app and start taking orders.

Question 2

What happens during the 14-day free trial?

Accepted Answer

You get full access to every feature with no restrictions. We seed your account with realistic demo data so your dashboard looks live from day one. No credit card required to start.

Question 3

What if my internet goes down?

Accepted Answer

Puffer uses Firebase's persistent local cache, so your data stays accessible offline. When you reconnect, everything syncs automatically. We also show a clear offline indicator so you always know the status.

Question 4

How does payment work? I don't want to hand over card details.

Accepted Answer

We know Egypt. You pay via InstaPay or PayPal - no card required, no subscriptions to a US billing system. After you choose your plan, you'll see our payment instructions. Our super admin confirms your payment and activates your account within a few hours.

Question 5

Can I manage multiple branches?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can add additional branches with per-branch pricing. Each branch has its own POS, inventory, and analytics, all in one centralized dashboard.

Question 6

Is my data secure?

Accepted Answer

Puffer runs on Firebase (Google Cloud) with strict Firestore security rules. Your data is isolated from every other organization - no shared databases, no cross-tenant access. Every action is logged.

Question 7

Can my cashiers have limited access?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Puffer has role-based permissions: Owner, Manager, Cashier, Reception - each with a specific access level. Admins can configure exactly what each role can see and do from the settings panel.
